Cub’s virtual camp is officially over 🥳🥳

After the second mort in their fort, it was now time to put everything down and tidy the room. A simple dessert had to be made for tea time and we think they were delicious. Finally we did the last virtual visit to an aquarium in Baltimore USA.

Well done to all leaders, cubs and last but not least the parents for their continuous support and patience. 🤩

Due to the current situation we were not able to go for our Easter Camp.. This did not stop our cubs section as they decided to go one step further online.. An online virtual camp was prepared by the section leaders where all cubs had the same task to execute at a fixed point in time during the day.

During the first night cubs were asked to build their own camp with objects found at home.

Fantastic job to all!!!

Since the health and safety of our Scouts is always our top priority, The Scout Association of Malta has taken the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all Scout meetings and activities with effect from the 13th of March for a period of 3 weeks.

The decision follows a careful study of the current situation of the recent days and weeks and is a response to the current decisions of the state institutions.

We are convinced that it is desirable to take aggressive measures at this point in order to contribute to slowing the spread of the virus. We are confident that now is the moment for decisive preventive action to help keep the virus within manageable limits. As a movement based on the principles of education for responsible action towards our surroundings, we should act in accordance with these principles, even if it hurts a bit.

We are entrusted to make these tough decisions in extraordinary times for the benefit of our members.

We can still Scout from home, what ways can you think of to Scout from home? #evenathomeiamascout
