1st Hamrun Scout Group Duke of Argyll's Own
The 1st Hamrun Scout Group was founded in 1913 and has been active within the local community ever since.
Our Venture Scouts embarked on a thrilling 3-day adventure camp in Gozo, filled with challenges, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. From rugged coastal hikes and night navigation exercises to pioneering projects, the camp pushed every participant to grow in leadership and resilience. This immersive experience not only strengthened bonds within the venture unit but also inspired a renewed sense of purpose, self-confidence, and commitment to scouting values. #scouts #ventures #malta #gozo #camp

Two of our Rovers spent a week in Ireland were they went on an adventurous trip on the Blue Clipper. In this trip they had the opportunity to experience first hand the life of sailors and learn about the life on the Irish sea. The voyage started from Warren Point, then they sailed to Scotland visiting the Holy Isle and the Isle of Arran and finally ending in River Lagan. On their last two days, the group had a chance to explore the city of Dublin as well. ![]()
